Bicskén az ‘integrációs’ táborban élő menekültek ismét tüntetést szerveznek ezúttal, az Európai Unió Lövőház utcai képviselete előtt február 19-én kedden. Szeretnék felhívni az Európai Unió figyelmét arra, hogy a jelenlegi törvényi keretek, nem teszik lehetővé az integrációt Magyarországon.
The Refugees from the Bicske camp will demonstrate in front of the EU House this Tuesday 19th of February from 12.00 to 15,00. Since Hungarian government gave them refugees’ status they want the chance to make a living in Hungary. This means access to decent housing but also job and school opportunities. They already protested in front of the Parliament last November without getting any acceptable answer this is why this time they address their requests to European Union.
A bicskei menekült táborból úgy kerülnek ki, hogy a lakhatásuk nem megoldott, támogatást csak olyan feltételekkel kaphatnak, amelyeket szinte lehetetlen teljesíteni. Így legtöbbjük számára a 6 hónapos ‘integrációs’ időszak további bizonytalanságot jelent. Az orvosi ellátás nem elegendő és nem megfelelő, a szociális munkások száma kevés. Ebben a bizonytalan és információhiányos környezetben várják el tőlük, hogy integrálódjanak, az üldözés és menekülés okozta traumából álljanak talpra, majd többszörösen hátrányos helyzetből kezdjenek egy új életet.
Tavaly novemberben eljuttatak egy petíciót a Belügyminisztériumba, amelyre semmitmondó válasz született. A problémák továbbra is valódiak, sőt a helyzetük egyre kilátástalanabb.
Gyertek a Lövőház utcai Európai Unió Házához, és fejezzétek ki a szolidaritásotokat a menekültekkel!
They will tell the EU that integration in Hungary is impossible within the present framework. The refugees are required by the government leave Bicske camp without accommodation prepared for them outside. At the end of March around 200 refugees will become homeless.
It is almost impossible for them to receive subsidies because of the impossible conditions. For most of them this 6 month long ‘integration’ means even more uncertainty. The medical help they receive is neither adequate nor enough and the current number of social workers is too few. In this uncertain environment they are also expected to integrate, to start a new life from a position of multiple disadvantages while recovering from trauma caused by persecution and escape.
