On 7 June 2013 the refugees and human rights activists sent a petition with 183 signatures to the Hungarian authorities, international institutions and EU Embassies in Hungary.
We request the Hungarian government to take into consideration:
• Rights to work in EU member states
• Status of refugee children born in Hungary
• Travel document for refugees Convention 1951
• Access to Hungarian citizenship
• Status of refugee children born in Hungary
• Travel document for refugees Convention 1951
• Access to Hungarian citizenship
Through this petition we hereby urge the authorities to find solutions to the issues mentioned above and to ensure that the recognised refugees who reside in Hungary will get the same rights as Hungarian citizens.
